Design Your Soundscape:

Instead of just lists, Sound Elements lets you build Scenes. Each scene is a visual canvas where you place your sound triggers:

• Image Elements: Assign sounds to custom images (JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP). Place them anywhere, resize them, flip them, and layer them using Z-order controls. Double-click or use a hotkey to play!
• Region Elements: Draw invisible clickable areas directly onto your scene panel. Perfect for creating sound triggers over specific parts of a background image or map, or for hidden controls. A toggle lets you see region outlines when editing.
• Shortcut-Only Elements: Need sounds triggered only by keyboard? Add non-visual elements accessible solely via global hotkeys, keeping your visual scene clean. Manage them easily through a dedicated window.

Powerful Audio Control:

• Playback: Supports common audio formats like WAV, MP3, OGG, and FLAC using the robust NAudio engine.
• Per-Element Settings: Fine-tune each sound with individual Volume control and Looping options.
• Built-in DSP Effects: Add character to your audio without external software! Apply and chain effects like Echo, Reverb, Chorus, Flanger, Vibrato, Distortion, Low/High/Band-Pass Filters individually to each sound element.
• Device Selection: Choose your preferred audio output device directly within the application.

Intuitive Workflow:

• Visual Editing: Drag elements to position them, right-click for context menus (Edit, Delete, Flip, Resize Toggle, Z-Order). Enable resize handles to adjust size visually.
• Relative Positioning: Elements intelligently maintain their relative position and size when you resize the main window.
• Global Hotkeys: Assign system-wide keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl/Alt/Shift + Key) to any element for instant triggering, even when Sound Elements isn't focused. Includes a default hotkey to quickly show/hide the application window.
• Scene Management: Easily create, name, edit (including background image/color), delete, and switch between different scenes using the toolbar dropdown.
• User Friendly: Includes helpful startup tips (with a tutorial for first-time users and a "don't show again" option), stores settings and logs correctly in your user AppData folder (no permission headaches!), and automatically saves your layout and configurations.
• System Tray: Minimize the application to the system tray for unobtrusive background operation. Option to "Hide on Startup".
